Family Smart Kid Friendly Partnership EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAMS September & October 2013 Building Blocks For parents and their babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Family Smart/Kid Friendly Partnership joins the Waterford Public Library in offering this parent & child activity program. Music & movement, children’s books, and social playtime are introduced to provide families opportunities to engage in the “Building Blocks” of early learning. Early Learning Make & Take – For parents and their young children ages 3-6. Its Kid Friendly Tuesdays at Love, Inc. with this child centered family program. Join us for a weekly hands-on early learning project designed to stimulate creativity and spark the joy of learning. This drop by program is held in the Burlington Love, Inc. Thrift Store. Tuesday Mornings – 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, September 17th – October 22nd

ABC Music & Me For parents or caregivers and their children 2-4 years of age. Family Smart/Kid Friendly Partnership along with music from Kindermusik International provides a fun way to sing, listen, move, play, learn, and build early literacy & language skills. Learn at Lunch - Focus on Parenting - Casual informational sessions held over the lunch hour (Noon – 1:00 PM) at the Burlington Love, Inc. Community Center. Includes lunch. Registration deadline is 2 days before meeting. Call 262-763-6226 x 107 to reserve a spot.

Partnership Program Parents as Teachers home visitation program prenatal to age 5 Parent educators provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. In-home visits support the parent’s role in promoting school readiness and healthy development of children.
