RACHAEL RAY TO KICK OFF MIDVILLE’S RESTAURANT WEEK Midville Convention and Visitors Bureau hosts the first Midville Restaurant Week
MIDVILLE, Nebraska (March 20, 2011) – Midville Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting its first annual Midville Restaurant Week from Monday, May 9 to Sunday, May 15. Famous chef and television personality, Rachael Ray, will return to her hometown of Midville to kick off the celebration at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 9 at the Midville Convention and Visitors Bureau located at 1234 North Main Street in Midville.
Ray will share her best culinary secrets with the audience and will provide a cooking demonstration. She will be bringing her cookbooks, magazines and t-shirts to hand-out to those who attend. In addition, the kick-off event will feature free food samples from local restaurants.
“I appreciate the support the town of Midville has given me over the years,” said Ray. “I am excited to return to my old stomping ground to share my experiences and cooking skills with all of those from my hometown.”
All of the restaurants located on Main St. in Midville will be participating in Restaurant Week and will offer a 2-course lunch for $15.15; a 3-course lunch for $20.20, and 3-course dinner for $30.30.
