Reading Connections for today will be held in creative writing/world language classes. Don’t forget your book! This year, spring photos are super easy for you. If your parent(s) would like to order copies of the photos, they need to go to the website listed on the sample sheet and enter the student code (at the top of the sheet). There is nothing for you to return, and nothing for teachers to collect! Thank you for your orders! See Mrs. Fleming in the library if you have any questions. Hylton Dance Team Try-outs are June 5, 6, and 7 in the main gym at Hylton High School. You must have a completed VHSL physical form dated May 1, 2017, or later, in order to try-out. Please pick up a packet from the front office.

“We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got Spirit how about YOU?” Which grade has the most spirit? Will it be sixth, seventh, or eighth grade? From May 11 through May 25, show your School Spirit by purchasing spirit links. The grade level that has the longest spirit link chain on May 25 will win bragging rights, the spirit stick, and a special treat. Whose spirit link will reach around the gym? Whose will be the length of the football field? Will it be sixth, seventh, or eighth grade? The cost of one link is $.75 or you can get 2 for $ 1. The Student Faculty basketball game will be held Thursday, May 25, right after school. Come one come all come to see. Admission is $1. Do you want to go to the yearbook signing party? Only those students who have purchased a yearbook prior to June 7 will be allowed to attend. Buy your yearbook now! Order forms available in the library. Meeting after school tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 (please remind your parents of your afternoon commitment and remind them that if you are not a walker, you will need a ride home.
