EOSSAA CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Date: Thursday, October 26, 2017

Location: St. Michael Catholic High School, Hwy #43, Kemptville ON. Race will take place in Ferguson Forest Center behind the school.

Directions: From Ottawa – Hwy 416 South towards Hwy. 401. Exit Highway 43 West to Kemptville. From Hwy. 401 – Hwy. 416 North towards Ottawa. Exit Hwy 43. Turn left heading into Kemptville. Turn right at Hwy 44 and then right onto Veterans Way. Buses can unload runners behind school in bus loop. Bus parking is available in the Municipal Centre parking lot, west of the school.

Registration Deadline: Sunday, October 22rd, 2017

Course: Course features open field, dirt roads and single track routes through Ferguson Forest Center. Course maps will be made available at registration on the day of the meet. Spiked shoes or racing flats are appropriate footwear.

Order and Time of Events:

*10:30am – Para Race (2 km) New This Year* 11:00am – Midget Girls (4.1 km) 1:15pm – Junior Boys (5.4 km) 11:45am – Midget Boys (4.1 km) 2:00pm – Senior Girls (6.1 km) 12:30pm – Junior Girls (5.4 km) 2:45pm – Senior Boys (6.1 km)

Entries: You may enter an unlimited number of eligible runners however students can only race in one event. All runners on a team must wear identical school tops when competing.

Please email a confirmation of entry, including a list of competitors by division, to Andrew Galbraith ([email protected]).

The entry fee will be $5.00 per runner to an overall team max of $200.00. Late entries are $10.00, to a max of $300.00. Please note, once your athletes are entered the entry fee will apply.

Please have all paper work and forms filled out. For a copy of the forms check the OFSAA website http://www.ofsaa.on.ca/cross-country-running/coaches/registration.

You will be required to pay the OFSAA entry fee before you leave if your athletes qualify - $13 per athlete, and $3 OFSAA participant fee (per student athlete).
