SIDE LOT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Property requested must be located in the County of Saginaw. 2. Property requested must be currently owned by the Saginaw County Land Bank Authority. 3. Property requested is vacant real property with no structure on the site. 4. Property requested shares a property line with the applicant’s property or is directly across the street. 5. Applicant is the owner of the property next to the property requested and is either residing in it or is operating it as a registered rental property. A renter may not apply for property. 6. Applicant’s property taxes on all property owned within Saginaw County are not delinquent at the Saginaw County Treasurer’s Office. 7. Applicant is an eligible purchaser and has not been banned from purchase due to fraudulent practices either at a prior Saginaw County Treasurer tax auction or for a prior Saginaw County Land Bank Authority property purchase. 8. Applicant’s property/properties are free of any code violations established by the local unit and are currently occupied. A visual inspection of the applicant’s properties will be conducted by the Saginaw County Land Bank Authority’s office. 9. Applicant is not already using the property requested without prior authorization from the owner. 10. Applicant was not the owner when the property went through tax foreclosure.
