Papas parrot literary essay by: Hemanth and Neel

The theme in our book Papas Parrot by Cynthia Rylant is family is always important Early in the story Harry Tillian’s had a good relationship with his father who owned a candy shop. An example of this is Harry and his friends used to visit the candy shop after school, even though he didn’t even like candy and nuts. Another example of this is he and his friends came to sample for Mr.Tillian. Later in the story when Harry entered junior high school his relationship with his father was not as good. An example of this is Harry and his friends didn’t come by his father’s candy and nut shop as often. Another example of this is him and his father always joked around at the dinner table. At the end of the story the relationship between him and his father was very very bad. An example of this is he didn’t even come in his dads shop at all and all he did was look inside it instead of going in. another example of this is that he went to go check on his father in the hospital when his father got very ill. Now that I think about my idea that family is always important, I realize that not having a good relationship with your family members is a huge trouble and can cause many bad things to people. I know that having a good relationship with my family is an important part of my life.
