Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study Summer Data Workshop 2013

Please note that preference will be given to candidates who have not previously participated in a Fragile Families Summer Data Workshop.

Statistical Training

The Fragile Families Summer Data Workshop is intended for researchers able to manipulate data and conduct empirical analyses using statistical software. Data will be made available in Stata, SPSS, and SAS, though most discussions and examples will use Stata code. Data may also be requested in ASCII (.csv) format. Please specify the statistical software package in which you are most proficient. Stata SPSS SAS Other (specify)

Travel Costs and Housing Preferences

For out-of-town participants accepted to the Fragile Families Summer Data Workshop 2013, reasonable expenses for travel and housing will be covered up to $750, pending timely submission of the required forms and original expense receipts at the conclusion of the workshop. Rooms will be arranged for those interested at a local hotel; the cost of these rooms will be deducted from the $750 allotment. To help us anticipate the number of rooms to reserve, please indicate what type of accommodation you would prefer, if accepted to participate in the workshop.

Single Room @ ~$150-185/night Shared Room @ ~$90/night per occupant
