 Positive team culture  2 types of Salary Packaging Available  Work/Life Balance An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Counsellors to join the Star Health Counselling Team. You will be responsible for the delivery of timely, accessible and high quality counselling services. The new Accessible Psychological Interventions program provides short to medium term psychological interventions and therapeutic counselling targeting hard to reach groups. Services provided include counselling with individuals and families as well as group work.

To be suitable for the role you will possess the following:

 A professional qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy.  AASW member certified to meet mental health standards, AHPRA registered Psychologist, or AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist with 2 years’ experience in mental health.  At least two years’ experience in the provision of counselling, including working with a range of issues including complex health and trauma.  Demonstrated knowledge of current evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, family and group settings.
