To Set the Compatibility View Settings in Internet Explorer

WVEIS Compatibility Issues—if this is not set, the submit button will not work WVEIS only works in Internet Explorer. In Windows 10, to go Cortana and type in Internet Explorer and click on Internet Explorer—the E has a gold ribbon through it. --Edge is also included in Windows 10—WVEIS WILL NOT WORK IN EDGE—The E has a blue ribbon through it To set the Compatibility View Settings in Internet Explorer—

1. Click on Tools in Internet Explorer. If you do not see Tools, right click to the right of the last tab and select Menu Bar. You should now see Tools.

2. Click on the Popup block under Tools and click on Turn Off Popup Blocker

3. Click on Compatibility View Setting under Tools

4. Type k12.wv.us in the blank box and click Add -- click OK

5. Click on Compatibility View Setting under Tools again

6. Type 10.140.200.17 click Add-click OK Remember—Third try logging in to WVEIS will disable it. Go to: http://wveis.k12.wv.us/teachers to Re-enable your WVEIS.
