4 c. Photo fun d. Tabernacle e. Home helpers For example, a club selected Photo Fun: Club will have to give some information to the kids about what Photo Fun is. Like what do you use, what can you use to take pictures? Show the parts of the camera, etc. A quick and easy presentation for the children and hopefully they can learn something. Then show display of the children’s creative pictures, ideas, styles, etc....CRAFTS. Then do a fun activity at the booth. Like, if the club can afford to take pictures of kids doing wacky posing and give away pictures taken to them, or show pictures and let them do scavenger hunt around the booth of the picture/s shown. Adventurers will be given Activity cards to be used to as they visit booths. After they listen to the presentation at each booth, the sponsoring club will stamp or sign their cards. As always, all stamped activity cards will be raffled for a prize. So the Adventurer kid decides to go first to the booth of Club A that selected to do Photo Fun, bringing the paper provided him/her. The paper listed for Club A booth is called “Then and Now,” or “The Times of Your Life” or “Smile, You are on Candid Camera” which they submitted. (Being creative by changing the name, “Photo Fun”). Listen to the presentation, looks at the crafts, play the fun games and have activity card stamped. Why Adventurers Got Talents? Because of the title they named for their award (if they can), to the creative crafts each children will do for their booth, unique fun things/game they can think is what we must see. Clubs will be judged based on the following grouping: o Small Clubs (Under 15 members) o Medium Clubs (16-30 members) o Large Clubs. (31 members or more)
9. Criteria for judging the booths: a. Creativity/Appearance of the Booth. The overall appearance as to its appropriateness, attractiveness, and motif will be considered by judges. Adult leaders may assist the Adventurers in arranging and preparing the booth. However, the judges will give more points when greater Adventurer family participation has been used in the preparation of the booth. b. Adventurer Display in the Booth. This relates to the collections, hobbies, handicrafts, or other exhibits made by the Adventurers which highlight the Award chosen as theme of the booth.
