We are still enjoying Autumn activities!

PSED/RE  We will remember all the key things we have found out about Baptism

 We will show love in all we do at school, referring to our school motto ‘Learn to Love, Love to learn’

 Show how to be a good friend and play together, revisiting our class rules

C and L  Talk about and respond to a new text

 Talk about what we know about baptism

 Talk about seasonal changes

Literacy  Hear and say rhyming words

 Play rhyme games

 Encourage correct letter formation based on RWI m n r h

 Phonics- be able to read a range of words on sight

 Text Little Cloud by Eric Carle- write a caption linked to text

Maths  Count forwards and backwards from 0-20

 Use IWB game SPLAT to reinforce number recognition

 Use positional and directional vocabulary

 Explore floating and sinking using natural objects

PD  Soap and brushes for mark making

 Move in a space responding to directional instructions

 Water and brushes/ chalk/bubbles for letter formation

Understanding the World (UTW)  Become more aware of seasonal changes

 Use natural objects to make pictures and predictions

EAD  Small world –Farm set

 Role play : The Baby Clinic

 Create leafy hedgehogs

 Revisit colour mixing

 Sing familiar songs and accompany with instruments  PE will be on Monday for this week- please remove earrings. Thank you
