Types of Sentences ** A sentence can be used to make a statement, to ask a question, to make a request or give a command, or to show strong feelings. Declarative= makes a statement and ends in a period (.)

Interrogative= asks a question and ends in a question mark (?)

Exclamatory= shows strong feeling and ends in an exclamation point (!)
