<p>Types of Sentences ** A sentence can be used to make a statement, to ask a question, to make a request or give a command, or to show strong feelings. Declarative= makes a statement and ends in a period (.)</p><p>Interrogative= asks a question and ends in a question mark (?)</p><p>Exclamatory= shows strong feeling and ends in an exclamation point (!)</p><p>Imperative= makes a request or gives a command and ends in a period or exclamation ( . !)
