Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM.  Reviewed the minutes from the April 21, 2016 meeting. The minutes were accepted.  The financial statements were reviewed and accepted.  Fiscal year report was approved. It was noted that the Educational Fund has enough for about a year.

Old Business:  Diversity Coatings completed the project in the church basement for $6,521.10. The council agreed that the floor looks nice and cleaned up well after the recent water in the basement during the flood.  In an email Dennis said they had met with Struxture Architects in July and the preliminary drawings were out of range of the anticipated budget. The Architects are now working on new drawings. It was agreed the main goal is to make the church more accessible and stay close to what the Panos family indicated their donation would be.  Art and Dean will follow up with Dennis about filling two positions on the council.

New Business:  Heather Pecinovsky suggested raising the pop rate at the community center from .60 lb to .75. The council agreed to the rate increase effective immediately.  The final numbers for Czech Days are available. It looks like the income is down about $20,000.00 from last year. The council was not surprised by this considering the rain fall on Friday and Saturday of the event.  Terra informed the council that a family wishes to do a memorial around $1,000.00. The council will keep this in mind as the church addition moves forward.

The next council meeting is November 3, 2016.

Father Kyle closed the meeting with a prayer. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. Terra Kuennen, Bookkeeper
