Opening Our Hearts to God’s Word Scripture Lesson Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing. Announcements Guest Musician: Today we welcome Rachel Wilson, cellist, who grew up in this church. Rachel is a 2nd-grade teacher in Fort Collins, Colorado and is the daughter of Anne Wilson. Summer Choir: Summer Choir continues through July. There’s a 25-minute rehearsal in the choir room (underneath Fellowship Hall) at 9:30 am. Come enjoy participating in worship from “the other side”!

Congregational Care Chancel Flowers: Today’s flowers are given by Tom & Beth Zych in honor of their sons Tom and Ian and their grandson Elliot; and by the Leslie, Richards and Strachan families in memory of Hugh Leslie. Today Circle the City with Love takes place today on the Hope Memorial Bridge from 1:00 - 3:30 pm. This non-partisan, no-labels, no-issue event is designed to embody the power of love that brings peace and justice to our city, our country and our world, through holding hands and standing together as one in intentional silence at an important moment in our history. 8 Next Week Guest Preacher: Jared Birks will be in our pulpit next week. Jared worshiped at Forest Hill while attending Cleve. Hts High School, was an active member of the choir, and served on the Justice and Mission Ministry. He recently graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Music and will enter seminary in 2017 to become a pastor in the United Methodist Church.

Bible Study:  Hosea 1: 2-10; Psalm 85; Colossians 2: 6-15; Luke 11: 1-13  Bible and Bagels discusses the psalm and gospel lessons on Wednesday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30. All are welcome!  Mid-Week Bible Study, Thursday, 7:30 pm in South Hall: Rachel McDonald is leading a mid-week summer bible study about taking the Gospel outside the walls of our church. It meets Thursdays @7:30 pm in South Hall through Aug 4. Drop-ins welcome; no advance prep needed.  Adult Education Bible study, Sundays, 9:00 am: Tom Zych is leading an adult bible study on what the bible teaches about political power?

Family Promise Move-Out Bag donations are due tomorrow, July 18. Drop off a check or any of these items by the end of the day: toilet paper, paper towels, dish and/or laundry soap, sponges, toilet bowl cleaner and brush, all-purpose cleaner, shower curtain and rings–things needed the first day in a new home.

Habitat for Humanity Apostles Build: Forest Hill Church is again helping to rehab houses on Cleveland’s east side through Habitat for Humanity's Apostles Build.
