SANCTIONED MYOTONIC GOAT SHOWS SATURDAY JUNE 17, 2017: MGR MYOTONIC SHOW 9:00 A.M SUNDAY JUNE 18, 2017: BLUEGRASS MGR SHOW 9:00 A.M

RULES & REGULATIONS: 1. All goats must be registered by Myotonic Goat Registry. Original registration certificate must accompany the goat at check in.

2. Pending registrations will not be accepted.

3. Age eligibility for classes will be determined by birth date on registration certificate.

4. Please use full registration name on entry form along with correct breeder/ exhibitor name.

5. No percentage goats will be shown.

6. Substitutions will be allowed at check-in within the same class.

7. Show will start at 9:00 A.M.

8. Premiums for both shows follows: 1st place: $15.00, 2nd Place: $10.00, 3rd Place: $5.00, 4th Place: $5.00 Champions will receive a bag of feed & a rosette and the Reserve Champions will receive a rosette.

9. All goats must be shown with collar. Owners are responsible for securing their goats at all times.

10. All goats must have a health certificate dated within 30 days of show for out of state participants. Health inspector will check health papers. Kentucky Health Rules Apply!!

11. MGR rules to govern and take precedence over all others.

12. Entry Fee is $8.00 per goat, per show, per class. No fee for Showmanship and no pen fees.

13. Entries MUST be received by June 10, 2017.

14. No Refunds of entry fee.

15. You may come in on Friday June 16th, 2017.

16. STATEMENT OF LIABILITY: The show organizers will not be responsible for loss, damages or accidents to animals, property or persons while participating in the show. MGR Market Wether program rules: 1. Wethers must show no evidence of permanent teeth. 2. Wethers may be shown in bands until 3 months of age. 3. No percentage wethers shall be shown and all wethers must be registered with the Mytonic Goat Registry. 4. Polled, disbudded or horned wethers may be shown. 5. Wethers may be shown in natural cost but must be clean and hair must be no longer than 1/2 inch. 6. Wethers must be shown by date of birth. The divisions shall be light weight and heavy weight. the divisions shall be difined as;  Light weight wether - Under 6 months of age  Heavy weight wether - six months and older without evidence of permanent teeth. 7. The light weight wether division shall be judged as 0-3 months and 3-6 months old. The Heavy weight wether division shall be judged as 6-9 months and 9 months and older.  A light weight wether champion and reserve champion shall be chosen from the 1st and 2nd place class winners in the light weight division.  A heavy weight wether champion and reserve champion shall be chosen from the 1st and 2nd place class winners in the heavy weight division.  The Champion and reserve champion from the light weight and heavy weight divisions will return to the ring and be judged for overall market champion and reserve market champion. 8. In order to record a point in the market wether program there must be at least 3 wethers regardless of division.  There must be at least three owners (which will be counted by MGR Breeder numbers.) on record to sanction. 9. Any wether earning one point as a champion market wether will be eligible to compete in the market national class.  Market wethers may only show in one wether division at the national show.  market wether points will not count towards the platinum wether program. 10.
