- Think about how many times we disobey God, and how many times He forgives us
- Think about how the other person might not have meant what they did (accident)
- Think about God’s love for each person and for the person that has wronged you.
- Think about all the good things this person did for you
3. Why should I go to my parents or Sunday school servants for advice?
- They have more experience
- They love me and want what’s best for me
- They see things from a different perspective.
- They lived longer and therefore know more.
4. What does it mean to have a soft heart and how can I soften my heart?
- When I hear God’s word, it makes me realize that I’m doing something wrong and I start wanting to change and stop my sin/ I don’t become stubborn or negligent to my sin
- Continuous Prayer (The Jesus Prayer)
- Personal Relationship with God
- Reading His word (The Holy Bible)
- Keep God’s commandments, and realize when we have a problem that needs to be fixed.
- Be willing to change anything that is wrong in our life.
- Ask God to help us and His grace will work in us in order for us to change for the better 5. Why do we lose faith and how do we trust God?
- We lose faith because things don’t work out the way WE want them
- We always want our will
- We can trust God by realizing the love He has for us
- By building a personal relationship with Him where I can tell Him anything
- By knowing that as long as I love and obey God, all things will work together for good
- By praying from our hearts “THY will be done”
