SKATE MALMÖ 2017, an interclub competition in Figure skating organized in Malmö on 17-19 March 2017
1 1. GENERAL Skate Malmö 2017 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2011, the ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating 2011 and the relevant ISU Communications.
All ISU members and clubs, members of National Figure Skating Federations associated to ISU, are invited to take part in the competition. The organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants in case the number of competitors is too high. The organizing club reserves the right to enter more competitors. The clubs are asked to list the skaters in the order in which they wish to be accepted to the competition. For Swedish skaters we will prioritate skaters with highest scores season 2016/2017.

2. TECHNICAL DATA
SENIOR, age and requirements according to ISU Rules Ladies and Men, Short program and Free skating
JUNIOR , age and requirements according to ISU Rules Ladies and Men, Short program and Free skating
ADVANCED NOVICE, age and requirements according to ISU Rules Boys and Girls, Short program and Free skating
BASIC NOVICE A, born 1.7.2003-30.6.2006 Boys and Girls, Free skating 2.30 min. +/-10 sec
CUBS, born 1.7.2006 and younger Boys and Girls, Free skating 2.30 min. +/- 10 sec
2 Rules for Basic Novice A and Cubs:
a) Maximum of 4 jump element for Girls and Boys, one of which must be an Axel type jump. There may be up to two (2) jump combinations ore sequences. Jump combinations can contain only two (2) jumps. A jump sequence can contain any number of jumps, but only the two most difficult jump will be counted. Tripple jumps are not permitted. Any single and double jump (including double axel) cannot be executed more than twice in total. b) There must be a maximum of two (2) spins of a different nature (abbreviation), one of wich must be a spin combination and one must be a spin with no change of position. The spin combination can be executed with a change of foot and a minimum of eight (8) revolutions or without a change of foot with a minium of six (6) revolutions. The spin with no change of position can be executed with a change of foot and a minimum of eight (8) revolutions or without a change of foot and a minimum of six (6) revolutions. In both spins flying entries are allowed. c) There must be one (1) Step sequence with fully utilizing the ice surface.

The factor of the program components is 2.5
Maximum of level 2.
3. ENTRIES Entries of competitors Entries must be made by name to [email protected] not later than 18 January, 2017. Enclosed entry form must be used. Planned Program Content (PPC) for each skater must be enclosed. Confirmation will be announced until 21 January 2017. Definite timetable and list of participants will be announced to all entered clubs in February 2017. Entries of judges and technical panel Each participating ISU Members and clubs with entries in at least two categories may suggest one international/national Judge, Technical Specialist or Technical controller. The organizer reserves the right to select the judges and Technical panel. Accommodation Thursday-Sunday and meals Friday breakfast until Sunday lunch will be paid for the selected judges by the organizer. Deadline for Entries of Judges is 18 January, 2017. The confirmation of the list of judges will be announced until 21 January 2017.
5. MUSIC
3 All Competitors shall provide competition music of good quality on CD. CD must state the full name of the competitor, category, name of club and country. The participants are obliged to present their music records at the accreditation desk.
6. TRANSPORTATION
Malmö KK will provide transport service upon request: From railway station Hyllie (for participants coming from Copenhagen airport – Kastrup) for 6 EUR (55 SEK)/person/one way. From Malmo airport- Sturup for 11 EUR (100 SEK)/person/one way and from the railway stations of Malmo for 6 EUR (55 SEK)/person/one way. Please, be informed that this service is only possible in case your travel details arrives to the organizer not later than 22 February, 2017.
7. ACCREDITATION
All event Officials, Judges, Team Leaders, Competitors and Coaches taking part in the Competition are requested to register at the ice-rink from morning 17 March.

The organizer has reserved facilities at the official hotel. The room rates are per room and night including breakfast. 9. MEAL It will be possible to buy lunch and dinner at Isstadion for 8 EUR/portion (70 SEK). The food has to be preordered and payment must be made in advance no later than 22
4 February, 2017. The Please use the enclosed document. There is no possibility to buy lunch/dinner at Isstadion the same day.
It is possible to buy snacks and drinks at the rink throughout the competition.
10. ENTRY FEE Entry fee: 90 EUR (825 SEK) for 2 programs, 70 EUR (650SEK) for 1 program. Practise fee: 5 EUR (45 SEK). Payment must be made in advance not later than 22 February, 2017. If a skater withdraws from the competition after February 22, the entry fee will not be refunded.

11. LIABILITY In accordance with Rule 119, the Organizing Committee accepts no liability for bodily or personal injury, or for property loss or damage incurred by Competitors and Officials. Each ISU member or their affiliated clubs is expected to provide their own insurance protection. The Organizer will provide emergency medical services for all invited Officials and Competitors during the competition period. 12. Saturday 18th of March: Advanced Novice girls older Advanced Novice/Junior/Senior Men Senior Ladies Advanced Novice girls younger Junior Ladies
Sunday 19th of March: Basic Novice A Advanced Novice older Advanced Novice/Junior/Senior Men Senior Ladies
In the free skating the skaters will skate in reversed result order of the short program. Award ceremony will be off ice 10 minutes after the conclusion of each category.
Detailed time schedule for the competition will be sent out with the confirmation. Depending on the number of participants we might have to adjust the preliminary schedule.
Practise schedule The competitors will be allocated time for practise Friday if the box at the entry form is ticked off. There is no practise for cubs and Basic Novice A.
