CAMP PACKING CHECKLIST
RFKC (purple) name tag holder Shorts, pants, shirts, underwear, socks, and sleepwear Something warm for when it cools off during the night Sturdy closed-toe shoes – sandals & flip-flops allowed only at the pool Modest swimwear – remember ladies, no bare midriffs Towel Hat Sunscreen, lip balm & bug spray Flashlight Clothes hangers - there are no closets, but there are places in the cabins where you can hook a bent wire hanger Toiletries & medications – ALL meds including over-the-counter meds must be turned over to Nurse Judy for the week Bible Backpack or fanny pack Refillable water bottle CD player & appropriate music CDs Camp chair for in/around cabin – other than your bunk, there is no seating on the cabins Sunglasses Watch or alarm clock (other than your cell phone) Bedding – pillow(s), sheets & blankets, or sleeping bag Ear plugs/sleep mask if you are a light sleeper Small fan & 12' to 15' extension cord for your cabin Nightlight for your cabin Special foods, drinks or snacks (for yourself or to share) -- must be kept in the staff break room (Turret Room). Remember to mark it clearly if it is NOT to share. Cabin décor –any theme you like (wallcovering, themed cut-outs, holiday lights, etc.) Props or supplies for the No-Talent Talent Show Western wear for country hoedown Encouraging letters or post cards for our campers (24 girls & 24 boys) or for our counselors/staff. Remember, mail for campers must contain no contact information (phone, addresses, or e-mail) and must be left unsealed so the content can be reviewed for appropriateness.
