SCHOOL BUZZ Published by Army Public School, Nehru Road, Lucknow HASTA LA VISTA: GOODBYE TWELFTHIES With every year that passes by, ends a glorious & an eventful academic session. With dreams in their eyes, determination in their steps the senior most batch of Army Public School, Nehru Road finished the last year of their schooling to step out into the new world, bidding adieu to the portals of their Alma Mater. To mark the occasion, a special assembly was organized by the students of class XI for their seniors on 1st February. RiaVijendran of class XI recited a beautiful poem titled “MEMORIES”. The Head Boy & the Head Girl expressed their thoughts on their memorable school years. It was a joyous & a tearful moment for the XII students as they completed twelve wonderful years in the school. The Principal, Ms Neena Mathur motivated the students & urged them to perform well in the upcoming Board exams. The Farewell Party, held on the same day was a grand affair. Music, Ramp walk & games were the highlights of the party. But the most awaited event was the Sash & Title Giving Ceremony. An Audio-Visual presentation by class XI took the Twelfthies down memory lane. It was nostalgic & left many teary-eyed. Their journey into the new world began with the best wishes of the teaching fraternity. A lavish party was also arranged on 31 Jan in the Boys Hostel to bid good bye to all Class XII students residing in the School Hostel. Bidding Adieu to Class XII Students

They come in top 0.1% category of

Merit List prepared by CBSE at all India level.

ELIXIR -2017 Students of the Primary Wing brought laurels to the School by winning following events at Elixir -2017, an Inter School Festival organized by Jagran Public School: Event Participants Position Anthology (Elocution) Deepti Mehta (VE) 1st Contour(Story Telling) Prakhar Verma (IVA) 2nd Musical Strokes(Song) Shreya Joshi (VC) 3rd Winners of Inter Class Spell Bee Competition CBSE HERITAGE QUIZ School team comprising Naitik Bhadauriya (XI F), Aditya Singh (XI G) & Aman Jha (IX D) won the 1st Position in the City as well as in the Regional Round of CBSE Heritage Quiz held at Varanasi. They later represented the School in the National Semi Finals at Delhi.
