Having been struck by the nostalgia bug, Neil Patrick Harris is seeking out some TV studios to help him produce his work, a continuation of his breakout hit TV show, Doogie Howser M.D. While he wishes to reprise his role, the show will instead focus on Doogie Howser’s children. Now an older man, Doogie Howser has graduated from a kid doctor to being a full-blown practitioner of medical law. His children, the specific details of which will be decided by the TV studio, will be practicing law and medicine respectively. The TV studio must decide which of the two to focus on, the law side, the doctor side, or both, and must create a procedural show around it. They must fully characterize both kids, then create the framing device for how the kids will receive their cases. Neil Patrick Harris himself will feature in a mentor role, but the studio must come up with the extended universe and the market. This sitcom will have occasional locations; however, the majority will be in a soundstage with a three-camera setup.
