Position: Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) Job Description: (1) Provides leadership and vision to ensure proper scientific procedures and systems are implemented and followed; (2) Management and leadership of the research while building partnerships and relationships with the scientific community. Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in chemistry or medicinal chemistry with >10 years industry experience in US pharmaceutical companies or biotech companies  With more than 5 years of related experience, including experience managing projects and budgets; and writing project plans and implementation documents  Being able to design, develop and implement programs in partnership with senior management; Considers financial and human resources required to develop and implement polices and programs  Proven track record of accomplishments with patents and publications  Sound leadership skills with personal integrity and excellent communication skills

Organization: Medicinal Chemistry Position: Vice President (VP) Job Description: (1) Design and optimization of novel compounds and/or compound libraries, in collaboration with scientists from surrounding disciplines including biochemistry, cell biology and pharmacology; (2) Play a major role in determing the overall direction of medicinal chemistry efforts within multiple projects; (3) Perform independent hands-on synthesis, purification and characterization of compounds using modern techniques Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in chemistry with >8 years industry experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech company  Proven leadership skills, strong problem solving skills requiring the highest application of scientific theory or technical methodology.  Expected to make pivotal contributions to the discovery of new chemical entities

Position: Executive Director/Senior Director/Director Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in organic chemistry with >5 years industry experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech company

Position: Senior Group Leader/Group Leader Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in chemistry with >2 years post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech company

Organization: Process Chemistry Position: Vice President (VP) Job Description: (1) Lead a team of scientists to develop chemical processes to manufacture drug substances for preclinical and clinical studies; (2) Devise and scale up new synthetic routes, developing chemical processes for early stage and late stage compounds; (3) Support medicinal chemistry programs by providing intermediates, and scaling up chemical processes in house and supervising API production at contract manufacturing organizations; (4) Provide regular updates on research and management of subordinates Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with emphasis on synthesis; 0-4 years post doctoral experience and >8 years industrial experience in scaling up chemical processes  Thorough knowledge and experience in handling, purification and characterization of organic compounds and drug candidates on gram to kilogram scale is expected  Experience in a kilo lab or pilot plant setting and familiarity with CGMP. .

Organization: Synthetic Chemistry Position: Vice President (VP) Job Description: (1) Responsible for the rapid development of new multistep bulk chemical processes; (2) Laboratory activities are focused on the development of efficient, cost effective, safe and environmentally responsible chemical processes which reliably afford high quality investigational active pharmaceutical ingredients; (3) Serves on a multidisciplinary team for the development of chemical processes, the development of new product registration application documentation and the preparation of bulk materials for use in clinical trials Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in chemistry with >10 years industry experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech company  Solid synthetic chemist being able to solve challenge synthetic problems  Experience in operational and custom service is a must

Organization: Lead Generation Biology Position: VP/Director Job Description: To create a lead generation biology operation aiming at providing open platform compound library screening service to pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Specifically: (1) Establish compound management capability for medium throughput screening (MTS); (2) Establish and standardize biological assays for compound library screening; (3) Recruit, train and supervise research scientists and associates; (4) Establish an informatics system for data management and data reporting to clients; (5) Assist business development for recruiting new clients (optional) Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in biochemistry or molecular biology, 3 years of HTS experience in an industrial setting, expertise in protein family focused screening assay development  Familiar with automation and current screening technology  Excellent communication skills

Organization: Preformulation Position: VP/Director Job Description: (1) Lead a team supporting small molecule development efforts from Lead Optimization through early phase development; (2) Provide physical chemistry, pharmaceutics and solid state chemistry expertise; (3) Determine the physical-chemical properties of compounds, including solubility, dissolution, solid-state characterization, scaling up and characterization to support salt selection; (4) Assessing the developability of Candidate compounds to enable downstream development and Providing support for preclinical formulation development and characterization Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics or Physical Chemistry with 3-5 years industry experience in Preformulation or early phase formulation development.  Technical expertise/experience needed: Solid state characterization, Salt selection, Drug absorption, Solubility/dissolution

Organization: DMPK/ADME Position: VP/Director Job Description: (1) Design and oversee preclinical DMPK/ADME studies; (2) Coordinate high throughput screening studies as well as full PK, DM, and ADME studies; (3) Draft reports summarizing results of pharmacology studies; (4) Analyze the data and report study results at both internal and external forums, as necessary Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology or related field, 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or life science environment; industry-related PK/PD and/or PK modeling is required  1 years management experience in PK/ADME or related area

Organization: Analytical Development Position: VP/Director Job Description: (1) Manage the analytical supports for all Discovery and Development projects; (2) Assist in laboratory in the execution of project plans whenever necessary; (3) Recruit, train and develop all analytical and purification chemists; (4) Design strategy and execution plan for the analytical chemistry department of the future Position Requirements:  Ph.D. in Chemistry, Separation Science or related field, More than 5 years of methods development and preparative separation experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech company  Hands-on experience and a good knowledge of HPLC and LC/MS, GC/MS  Experience in NMR is a must  Experience in automation and high-throughput analysis is prefer
