1. Too long

I was sleeping at six. I woke up, someone knocked on my door, I got up, turned on the light and went to the door. When I opened it, I saw a ghost. I thought: “ This would be too long to explain in fifty words” and I went back to bed.

2. Love at home

When the young girl said to the middle-aged man that she agreed to get married to him, the man replied: “ I’ll go immediately to tell this good news to my five sons and mother too. I’m sure they’ll be really happy to share the flat with you, darling”.

3. This is not a joke

This story is about a friend from my village who travelled to Amsterdam. That was the first time he had gone out of Catalonia, and before travelling he decided to study English on a CCC course. A man who was confused asked him: - Do you speak English? The answer: -If!
