Independent Bank Opens New Location
Little Elm, Texas…October 28, 2008—Independent Bank Group celebrated the Grand
Opening of its new bank in Little Elm with a family-oriented “Harvest Heyday” on
Friday, October 24. Nearly 500 local residents, business owners and dignitaries attended the event, enjoying free food, bounce houses, face and pumpkin painting, balloon animals, a live radio remote by KLAK’s Johnny B and multiple giveaways, including a
Magnavox 32” LCD HDTV. Five lucky attendees also registered to win a 2009 Honda
ATV and trailer to be awarded by KLAK later this year.
Regional President Bob McKnight said, “We were very pleased with the community response we received from Little Elm. Without these customers, we would just be another bank, but with them, we become a very special community and family- oriented bank. We will continue to respond to the needs of Little Elm.”
The new Little Elm banking facility is located at 229 Eldorado Parkway and is a relocation of the previous bank branch located right next door. The 3,500 square foot facility houses bank offices and a drive-thru facility (including a drive thru ATM). The project, designed by Jim Wilson Architects and built by Piazza Construction, boasts a beautiful Austin Stone building with a standing seam metal roof and is a welcome addition to the growing Little Elm business community.
