Bruce Buchanan is Managing Director of RBS Global Restructuring Group where he leads a team of workout professionals managing a large problem loan portfolio and providing strategic finance solutions to corporate clients. Bruce has over 15 years experience in corporate banking, distressed investing, bankruptcies, work-outs, restructuring and strategic finance.

Prior to joining RBS, Bruce was Managing Director and Group Head for Merrill Lynch’s Restructuring Group, Head of Restructuring and Strategic Finance Originations at Morgan Stanley and Head of National Restructuring Group at GE Capital.

Bruce received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the Stern Graduate School of Business at New York University and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany.
