Puppies whelped at Hunt It Up Labs carry a 26 month hip and 12 month eye guarantee which covers genetically induced hip dysplasia that would prevent your puppy from being certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and hereditary eye diseases that would prevent your pup from passing the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF). In the unlikely event that your puppy is found to have retinal or hip dysplasia and are not OFA or CERF certifiable you will be given a replacement puppy of comparable breeding if the below conditions are met. No cash refunds will be given. The original price of the puppy covered by this guarantee will apply toward the replacement puppy. If the replacement puppy is more expensive than the original puppy purchased, you will pay the difference as well as any associated shipping fees. You may keep your original dog; however, you must submit proof to Hunt It Up Labs from a veterinarian that the dog has been spayed or neutered. The letter must also state that the dog has not been overfed for its height/structure and has received regular check-ups before the guarantee will be honored. Any expenses incurred for all veterinary diagnosis and treatment are the sole responsibility of the owner.

Conditions for Guarantee Coverage: 1. The dog must never have sired or whelped a litter. 2. The dog must show no evidence or symptoms of abuse, neglect, improper nutrition, being overweight or show signs of injury resulting from excessive stress on joints (from such things like jumping in and out of trucks or accidental injury). 3. The dog must not have been transferred to any other person or entity. 4. The dog must have been registered with AKC by 4 months of age. 5. The dog must be x-rayed by a competent veterinarian and evaluated by OFA at 24 months of age. In case of dysplasia, you must submit a copy of x-ray and OFA report to us. OFA shall be the sole judge regarding hip dysplasia. Hips must be rejected by OFA. However, we reserve the right at our expense, to have the x-rays reviewed by our veterinarian. 6. In case of progressive retinal atrophy or central progressive retinal atrophy on or before 12 months of age, you must submit a copy of this report to us. CERF shall be the sole judge of hereditary eye problems. Eyes must be rejected by CERF. The certified veterinary ophthalmologist must state in writing that the defect is definitely of a hereditary nature and not caused by injury or illness.

It is impossible to state that any dog is completely free of genetic imperfection. We do guarantee that we have researched pedigrees and done health clearances to the best of our abilities as we breed only healthy and sound dogs. Therefore we offer this guarantee, provided you comply with this agreement. Under NO circumstances will this dog ever be turned over to an animal shelter, rescue or dog pound. In the event you can no longer provide for your pet and cannot find it a proper home we want to be notified so we can help you find a suitable home. We care about our pups from the time they are born to when they cross the rainbow bridge.
