The text of the abstract should be prepared in 12-point Times New Roman Font. Please prepare your text with 1.2 line spacing. The complete document should not exceed two pages. Text should be prepared left justified. Please do not insert headers or footers in your document. Note that accepted abstracts will be printed in black and white and will appear in the program book distributed at the conference. Please turn Track Changes OFF before you save your abstract. Remember to edit thoroughly your author names, affiliations, and text before submission.

Figure 1: Switching kinetics of redox-based valence change memories [1]. The simulations

show the SET switching time of a SrTiO3 (STO) RRAM cell as a function of the applied voltage

pulse VSET. The model is based on the temperature and field enhancement of the oxygen vacancy mobility in the disc region between the highly n- conducting plug and the left electrode. The cell geometry is shown in the inset. The feature size F has been used as a parameter for the set of calculations. A disc thickness of 3 nm and a diameter of the filament of 0.4 F has been used for all calculations. Details of the simulation model and the material parameters are given in Ref. [1].

Figures should be included in a (high resolution) jpeg format. Figure 1 shows an example. Please remember that the print version of the abstract book will be printed in black and white (including grey scales). All symbols within a figure should be comparable in size to at least a 10-point Times New Roman Font. All parts of drawings or sketches must be discernible. It is recommended to include the figures in tables, in order to guarantee a fixed position in the text. Please prepare figure captions with single line spacings and 10-point Times New Roman Font. References should also be single line spaced and in a 10-point Tines New Roman Font. All accepted abstracts will be published by Wiley-VCH. An ISBN number will be assigned to this compilation and it will be listed in all standard catalogues.
