We are excited to announce that the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is moving to a new location

It is our pleasure to inform all Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (SMADRC) families, colleagues, and friends that our clinic will be moving on September 19, 2016. Our new location in the East Campus Office Building (ECOB) is strategically located at the hub of the growing UC San Diego Medical Campus to enhance collaborations with other research groups. This exciting opportunity will provide us with state of the art physical space and proximity to a larger group of scientific collaborators, their innovative equipment and talent. This move is intended to foster growth and commitment to our Center in nationally recognized efforts to advance the prospects of a treatment and cure for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Your continued participation in our groundbreaking research is critical to our success, and we will do what it takes to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. Our mission to end Alzheimer’s while providing support and hope through innovative research opportunities to those living with and affected by the disease remains our priority. This effort is not possible without you! The SMADRC will continue to strive to meet our families’ needs by offering free parking, convenient access, and an array of Quality of Life and social programs to complement research opportunities. We are thankful to our dedicated participants, volunteers, multidisciplinary researchers, and community partners for your ongoing commitment and support.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you face any unexpected challenges as we make this important transition together. We look forward to seeing you at our new location!
