GCHE Youth League Bowling Rules

GCHE Youth League Bowling Rules

This league will bowl on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The League start date will be September 5, 2008 until the scheduled end of April 24, 2009. The schedule will be broken into two halves running through December 12 for the first half, and start again January 9 – April 25.

1. The League officials will be: Martha Cooper Kathy Voss

2. Teams will be a maximum of 3 players and must be GCHE members, ages 13 and up.

3. The cost will be a sanction fee of $12.75 per player and $9.00 per week to be put in your team envelope and turned in to the Secretary/Treasurer by the end of the 1st game.

4. If you are unable to be there on any given Friday, you must call either Martha Cooper or Kathy Voss and let them know that you will be absent. There will be a $4.00 absent fee each unexcused absence. If it is an excused absence and effort was made to let us know and to come if able, the fee will only be $2.00.

5. If you know in advance that you will need to miss a Friday, arrangements can be made with Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. Voss, or Caleb Cooper to pre-bowl for that set of games. This should be done while at the bowling alley, because we may not always be available to set it up otherwise.

6. Each team must pick a team captain and choose a name for your team. The Captain will be responsible to collect bowling fees for their team and turn it in to the Treasurer. The Captain will also verify and sign the score sheet each week before they leave the bowling alley.

7. Very important – All players must wear a GCHE t-shirt to participate each week. We do not want to have to send anyone home because they forgot. This would not only cause you to miss out, but hurt your teammates as well for that week.

8. If you are not there by the 3rd frame, you will not be allowed to bowl in that game and must wait until the next one starts. Please be on time!!!! Again, this hurts your team if you do not show up on time.

9. At the end of each half, there will be a party which will include bowling and lunch. The wins and losses will carry over for the second half. We will have a League Champion, and a second place team that will get trophies, but everyone will get awards throughout the year and a participation award at the end of the season.
