The White Earth Reservation Housing Authority is seeking qualified candidates to be responsible to provide general maintenance repair and security for Mahnomen Apartments in Mahnomen. This position is responsible to provide general maintenance and repair for all housing properties.  Performs and monitors the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to protect against theft and maintain security of premises.  Prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules to protect the property of White Earth Housing.  Circulate among visitors, patrons and warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.  Performs various unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled tasks in general maintenance such as repair, care, and up-keep of ground, equipment, buildings, and facilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:  Knowledge of basic policies and procedures and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, and property.  Knowledge of and ability to follow and apply the policies and procedures of the White Earth Housing Authority.  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.  Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.  Knowledge of basic home improvement procedures.  Knowledge of the White Earth Reservation demographics, culture, history, and lifestyles.

Qualifications Included:  High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)  Prefer some experience in video surveillance and security.  Must have a Driver’s License for traveling throughout the Reservation.  Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
