This position is responsible to provide general maintenance and repair for all housing properties.  Performs and monitors the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to protect against theft and maintain security of premises.  Prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules to protect the property of White Earth Housing.  Circulate among visitors, patrons and warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.  Performs various unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled tasks in general maintenance such as repair, care, and up-keep of ground, equipment, buildings, and facilities. </p><p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:  Knowledge of basic policies and procedures and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, and property.  Knowledge of and ability to follow and apply the policies and procedures of the White Earth Housing Authority.  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.  Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.  Knowledge of basic home improvement procedures.  Knowledge of the White Earth Reservation demographics, culture, history, and lifestyles.</p><p>Qualifications Included:  High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)  Prefer some experience in video surveillance and security.  Must have a Driver’s License for traveling throughout the Reservation.  Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.</p><p>Send Applications to: White Earth Housing Authority 3303 US Hwy 59 S Waubun, MN 56589</p><p>EEO with Native American Preference A Drug Free Workplace – Tests for alcohol and illegal drug use may be required prior to and during employment.
