Business and Family Law Monthly Topic

Due: the 19th of: each month

Topic: Students choose their own law related topic. Make the topic enjoyable for you.

Due: Ok to turn in this assignment in early, a report is due on the 19th.

Presentation: Teacher will choose a date after the student turns in a report. The student is expected to “present” and “tell” about the topic. Do not read lengthy information to the class.

Guidelines: After choosing your topic, perform research. What is the topic about? What laws apply? How does the law concern us? Do you want any changes? History?

Resources: Interview local citizens, news articles, magazines, Code of Iowa books, Drake Library for Centerville ordinances, Internet searches.
