Dear Region IV Members and Prospective Members,
It is time to get ready for the 2015 – 2016 THSRA Region IV rodeo season! The Officers and Board o f Directors are preparing for another exciting year and we hope you are too. I am available at the num bers below or you can reach me via email. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or conce rns that may arise.
As a board, our goal is to make this rodeo season a prosperous one for both the region and its memb ers. We are all well aware of the sacrifices that are made for all of our members to enjoy our favorite sport of rodeo. Outside sponsorship and fundraising participation are critical in achieving a healthy or ganization so we hope that all of our members and their families are willing to help in reaching that go al!
At the first rodeo, you will be receiving Dodge truck raffle tickets and Bloomer trailer raffle tickets to sel l. Just as last year, a portion of these sales comes back to the Region so we are all benefiting from ev erything that is sold.
Now – let’s talk about the forms that are enclosed. *Important information sheet with details and requirements for the upcoming season *Region IV Rodeo schedule *Membership Application (make sure it is on one page - front and back) *Contestant Approval Form *THSRA/TJHRA Photograph Release Form *Entry form for the first rodeo – you can make copies or get additional forms at future rodeos *Region IV Finals Program Ad Form *THSRA/TJHRA State Finals Program Ad Form *Region and State Important Due Dates *Order of Events for all Region IV Rodeos *High School/Jr. High Student Officer Application *High School/Jr. High Student Event Director Sign Up *Several other forms/information sheets from our State office All memberships must include completed, notarized membership (front and back form only) form, notarized photograph permission agreement, birth certificate, final report card from the last school year showing you were passing all of your classes and your payment. No membership will be processed without all of these items.
IF YOU ARE A RETURNING MEMBER YOU MUST STILL PROVIDE A COPY OF YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND FINAL REPORT CARD WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP!
Region IV continues to turn out great event champions and state and national qualifiers each year and that is a testament to the dedicated parents and kids we have coming back year after year. If you have any suggestions on things that can be done to make us even better, be sure to let your board members or officers know.
