This FREE course linked to the Children’s Food Trust programme provides Nursery, Playgroup and Child-minder professionals who prepare and supervise meals and snacks with opportunities to experience menu planning, problem solve eating challenges, and share experiences.

Using the EYFS welfare requirements for food and drink, and Voluntary Food and Drink Guidelines for early year’s settings; by the end of the course you will be better placed to:

 Inform on basic child nutrition to aid planning healthy menus and devising food policies.  Provide up-to-date, evidence-based nutrition advice around areas of: weaning, fussy eating and allergies  Devise effective communication tools and procedures

All attendees will receive practical tools including: Menu planning checklist, Food policy template and NHS resources.
