NM Southwest Officials Basketball Camp

In conjunction with Alamogordo High School Girls Basketball Team Camp

Location: Alamogordo High School, Alamogordo, NM

Dates: Friday June 3rd and Saturday June 4th, 2016

Camp Format:  The camp provides an opportunity to be evaluated by the NMAA Southwest Varsity Assignor, several college and junior college officials and NMAA Commissioner of Officials.  Officials will be instructed in 2 & 3-person officiating mechanics.  Classroom Sessions, Film Breakdown Sessions & Speaker Forums will be included.  All games will be filmed for camp attendees at MHS Main gym.  Each official will receive instruction and personal evaluations that are guaranteed to benefit both new and veteran officials. Each official who would like a copy of their game film should provide their own flash drive.  Basic areas of focus to include: Rotations, Switches, Foul Reporting, Primary Areas & Communication.  Advanced areas of focus to include: Game management, Coach and player management, Possession consequence and RSBQ plays.

Camp Tuition: $100 Registration fee per camper for both days.
