Burwash Parish Council Minutes of the Planning Committee Held on the 23rd August, at 6.30pm in Parish Room (Internet Room), The Bear Car Park

1) Apologies for Absence Apologies for absence, the reason for which had been lodged with the Clerk, were received from Cllr Caulkin, Cllr Durrant, Cllr Mc Bride, Cllr Moore,

3) Accuracy of the minutes of the previous meeting To approve the Draft Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 18/07/16 as a correct record of the proceedings. RESOLVED – that the Draft Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 18/07/16 be confirmed as being an accurate record of the meeting. A full account of the objections to give to Rother District Council were included and agreed.

4) Rectory Court Councillors to discussed current delay in meeting with Amicus. RESOLVED – To write to Amicus requesting further information about the delayed meeting, update for the local residents and information on how the site will be managed to stop it being such a grot spot in the centre of the village.

5) Planning Applications a) RR/2016/1837/P – Street Farm, Brede Lane, Sedlescombe, TN33 0PY The Planning Committee have deferred this for full council in 13/09/16. b) RR/2016/251/P – Bowmans, Perrymans Lane, Burwash, TN19 7DN Formation of Fish Farm including creation of 4No. ponds and associated groundworks. OBJECT – Ref: OWPC 7958 The Parish Council has reviewed the documents and feedback. Although the Parish Council looks to support businesses wherever possible due to the impact outlined on the AONB, potential flood issues and the historic fields, trees, hedgerows within the area the Parish Council objects to this application. c) RR/2016/2121/P – 4 West End Cottages, Heathfield Road, Burwash TN19 7NB Proposed single storey extension, first floor side extension and minor alterations. SUPPORT – Ref: OWPC7959 The Parish Council supports this application d) RR/2016/2125/P – Glebe Farm, Etchingham Road, Burwash TN19 7BG Construction of three bay garage with gym above. SUPPORT – Ref: OWPC7960 The Parish Council supports this application. e) RR/2016/2095/P – 83 Shrub Lane, Walsinham, Burwash TN19 7BU Variation of condition 2 of planning permission RR/2014/3018/P to allow 2no dormers on the front elevation.
