Races: Obstacle Cup Race

Joeys outside. A track is created using chairs, benches, trees, etc for Joeys to race around. Joeys ride around on horses (Cardboard heads on cardboard tubes).Present ribbons as they finish.

Races: Champagne Cup Relay Joeys placed around the track. The first Joey in each team has a champagne cup filled with water. He races to the next team mate to pass on the cup. See which team has the most water left at the end.

Races: Horse Ride Joeys in teams. One is the horse and has reins (a tie) under their arms and taken to the back for the rider to hold.

Activity: Make a Jockey Cap

Craft: Melbourne Cup Make a Melbourne Cup using foil and plastic wine glasses. A sticky label to be added later with eg “Best Horse”, “Fastest Horse”, “Most Amazing”

Activity: Have champagne (Lemonade) and chicken (Chicken drumstick biscuits)
