THIS WEEK’S MEETING

The meeting was called to order by President ERWIN TOERBER.

MIKE LESLIE led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.

STEVE HOLMAN led us in singing with Jerry Wickham at the piano. We sang “Jingle Bells” and “Happy Birthday”.

FELLOWSHIP

KATHY MOFFAT provided Fellowship and asked that everyone donate at least a dollar to the boot fund.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

WIN TOERBER announced that last pick up day for Cheese fundraiser is today. Please get your orders picked up from The Cheese Market. Preliminary counts show that the club has raised around $1,051.00. THANK YOU to all members who participated in this fundraiser! PETER FLYNN announced that the school district is doing a Day of Service on Martin Luther King Day. PETER asked that Rotarians consider donating personal care items such as toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, mouthwash, toothbrushes etc. Please bring all of your donations to the next Rotary meeting on January 9th. CRAIG BEINTEMA provided and update on the student exchange. There will be another meeting on January 5th for those that have questions. Please contact CRAIG for the application or if you have questions.

PROGRAM

LARRY MAIN introduced Cindy Main who spoke on her trip to the Arctic Edge Churchhill Canada in 2010. Thank you for your interesting presentation Cindy and contrary to what LARRY says, we look forward to future presentations!
