7.1 Location

7.2 Public transportation
Easy access from airport to Golden Tulip Farah, Casablanca at only 25 minutes drive, clear directions to downtown and to Golden Tulip Farah Casablanca. Both Taxi and train service are available.
By road . From the North Take the highway from Rabat, and then Avenue Ain Sebaa on the right. Continue on Mly Ismail Avenue to Avenue Des F.A.R, where the hotel is located.
. From the Seaside Coast (West) Take Avenue La Corniche, and then Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah Avenue. Continue on Avenue Les Almohades to the crossroad with Avenue Des F.A.R. and turn right. The hotel is located on the left hand side.
. From Mohammed V airport Take the highway to the Casablanca City Center, through Avenue Brahim Roudani, until its end. Continue on Moulay Hassan I Avenue until Place Nations Unies. Continue directly to Avenue Des F.A.R. The hotel is located on the right hand side. By Train . From the Train Station Casa Voyageurs (East) 2nd meeting of ISO/PC 283 Take Avenue Abdullah Bnu Yassine, then Avenue Mohamed V, to the Central Market. Turn right onto Colbert Road, which leads to the hotel. (10 minutes walking)
7.3 Airport Information
Casablanca is serviced by Mohammed V International Airport (IATA: CMN, ICAO: GMMN) (French: Aéroport international Mohammed V) that are accessible by public transport.
Mohammed V International Airport, (in arabi: Matar Muhammad al-Khamis ad-Dowaly) is an airport located in Nouasseur, a suburb 30 km South-East of Casablanca. It is the busiest airport in Morocco with approximately 7 million passengers passing through the airport each year.
By train
The train station at Mohammed V International Airport is located at Terminal 1, lower level section of the terminal. Make sure you exchange some money to Moroccan Dirhams before heading to the train station. The trip is every hour, and it usually takes half hour to Casa port train station. Cost ticket (one way) 60 MAD.
By taxi
A taxi from Mohammed V International Airport to the hotel or to the inner city should cost between 300 to 350 MAD.
8. Passport, Visa & Vaccination
Visitors from a number of countries will be required to have a valid passport and a valid visa. Visas must be obtained before departure and applications should be made to a Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence. We would advise checking with a local travel agency about the time necessary for obtaining such a visa.
No vaccination or other health certificates are mandatorily required for entry into the Kingdom of Morocco.
9. Climate
The average temperature during March and April is about 20ºc to 22°c. Usually in April the weather is sunny. The evening, it may cold.
10. Currency
Moroccan currency is the Dirham Marocain (MAD), with 100 centimes (c) = 1,00 MAD
Bank notes are either of 200 MAD, 100 MAD, 50 MAD, 25 MAD, 20 MAD denominations, with coins for 10 MAD, 5 MAD, 2 MAD, 1 MAD, 50c, 20c, 10c, 5c or 1c.
There are no restrictions on importing currency into the Kingdom of Morocco. 2nd meeting of ISO/PC 283 Currency can be exchanged at most banks (official week day hours 09.00 - 14.30), at a Bureau de Change, in most large hotels, or at the airport.
As this programme was being prepared, the conversion from main currencies is following:

11. Credit Cards
All reputable hotels, restaurants and shops will accept all major credit cards: Visa, Master Card and American express. Some shops in the market will accept payment by card when paying for goods such as carpets, leather or major items. Visa and Master cards can also be used in ATM's
Traveller’s checks in Morocco are discouraged in case things go wrong because they can only be exchanged at a bank when it is open.
12. Insurance
INCVT cannot accept any responsibility for any accidents, losses and/or damages, which may occur. Delegates are advised to obtain travel, medical, personal accident and luggage insurance in their home country, prior to departure.
13. Time zone
During the period of the meetings the Kingdom of Morocco will be at GMT + 1.

16. Tipping
Like everywhere in the world, tipping is customary and Morocco is no exception. Tipping should be at your own discretion and for good service only. Keep small money ready to give to those whom you consider deserving (a couple of dirham is considered the minimum tip). At hotels and restaurants, international tipping standards apply.
