Chapman Recording & Mastering - Intern Application
This is a three month, 1 day a week, non-paying internship position, consisting of various "runner" and assistant jobs. Completing an internship at Chapman Recording and Mastering can help you understand the bigger picture of the production and the studio business. It will also help narrow your focus on which aspect of pro audio production fits you best or if this type of work is for you.
Keep in mind, becoming a good intern takes a combination of skills: 1) Taking and executing directions well. 2) The ability to communicate clearly with others. 3) Being reliable and punctual. 4) Understanding the importance of studio etiquette. 5) Being a self-starter with a passion to learn.
Our program is not for everyone. If you are looking to be a studio musician or rap beat producer then our intern program is not a good fit. A good musical college might be better. However, If you love audio, have an ear for sound and want to learn then please apply.
