6. BALLYGLASS LIGHTHOUSE. Spinning on eitherside of ravine for mackerel pollack and small coalfish. Bottom fishing for conger, dogfish and pouting. Float fishing for wrasse.

1. POLLACOPPAL Beach fishing for ray, flounder and small turbot. Spinning from rock,, west of beach tor mackerel and pollack.

8. BLIND HARBOUR. Spinning in channel at mouth of bay for seatrout* and pollack. Last two hours of flood and first hour of ebb best. Bottom fishing over sand near entrance for flatfish.

9. GLENLARA. Half mile walk over hill to cast of car park. Bottom fishing from rocky platform for conger and dogfish. Float fishing for wrasse and spinning for pollack and coalfish.

10. ERRIS HEAD. Long walk from Glenlara over headland. Access difficult. Fishing location can be dangerous after rain or in rocks are, wet and slippery. Bottom fishing for conger, dogfish and gurnard. Spinning and float fishing lot- pollack, coalfish and mackerel.

11. FRENCHPORT. Bottom fishing from pier for flounder and occasional ray and conger. Spinning at dusk on a flooding tide for seatrout*.

12. ANNAGH HEAD. Spinning for pollack, coalfish and mackerel from rocky outcrops on southern side. Float fishing for wrasse Bottom fishing for dogfish and occasional conger.

13. CROSS. Bottom fishing in surf for flounder, seatrout*, dogfish and small turbot, especially below golf course.

11. CORRAUN POINT TO GLOSH TOWER. Beach fishing all along here,, especially near rock\. outcrops for flatfish, dogfish, occasional seatrout* and bass. Spinning from rocks below tower for pollack and mackerel.

15. BELMULLET. Float fishing from quay below square for mullet. Ground baiting essential.

16. ELLY BAY. Bottom fishing below car park at high water for flatfish and dogfish.

17. BLACKSOD POINT. Pier fishing at high water for dogfish and occasional ray and conger. Rock fishing south of pier for pollack and

18. GEESALA. Spinning in channel from last hour of ebb to first two hour, of flood for seatrout * and very occasional bass. Bottom fishing for flounder.

*It should be noted that a state licence is required for seatrout fishing.
