St. Sebastian Parish School Will Be Celebrating This Week with Exciting Activities!

Catholic Schools Week, January 31-February 6, 2016

St. Sebastian Parish School will be celebrating this week with exciting activities! Plan to join our dynamic community for these events!

Our designated service experience is a collection to support Heifer, International. “Heifer International's mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth.” Cash donations will be accepted Monday, February 1, through Friday, February 12.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, January 30 and 31 Weekend Masses (4:30 PM, 9:00 and 11:00 AM) Uniformed students will greet visitors, bring up the offertory gifts, and invite the Parish Community to our Open House.

OUR PARISH SCHOOL LIBRARY will be hosting a SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR! Students shop during school hours; open to the public during the hours below.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 31 Catholic Schools Week Open House at the Parish School, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Visit the school, meet our teachers and staff, tour the building, and experience the exciting school environment! Enjoy refreshments and a video montage of school life in Zwisler Hall.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1 Teacher Appreciation Day HASA will honor our staff with a luncheon and a gift.

First Reconciliation Meeting, 7:00 PM, St. Sebastian Parish Church Students and parents will attend this important instructional meeting.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2 Pastries with Parents, 7:30 AM - 8:05 PM, Zwisler Hall Come to school with your child, enjoy a morning snack, and visit with our principal, teachers, and school friends! Hoban Steel Drum Band, 1:00 PM -1:40 PM, Zwisler Hall The students will enjoy a musical treat from one of our Catholic High Schools!

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3 Spirit Day for our Parish School Everyone will show their school spirit with a jeans day and St. Sebastian spirit wear! Add more fun with a CRAZY HAT and SILLY SOCKS!

Teachers will provide a treat to celebrate their students!

Magazine Drive Kick-Off, 1:30 PM, Zwisler Hall Principal Isabella’s favorite fundraiser will begin with a motivating assembly!

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4 All School Mass, 8:15 AM, St. Sebastian Parish Church Join our Parish School at the morning Mass!

State of the School Address, 7:00 PM, Zwisler Hall Come and hear good news about our Parish School! Principal Isabella and Dr. Savitski will share important information about curriculum development, technology, and school achievements.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5 Vocation talk, 8:05 AM, Classroom Fr. Mike McCandless will speak to the 7th and 8th graders about vocations.

School Rosary, 1:30 PM, St. Sebastian Parish Church Join our Parish School for a first Friday Marian devotion!

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6 First Reconciliation, 9:30 AM, St. Sebastian Parish Church Children and their families will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
