The First Step in God S Will

THE FIRST STEP IN GOD’S WILL – SALVATION

(your name) (your name) 2 PETER 3:9 “…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

 This is the first thing about God’s will – He wants men to be saved. (your name) 1 TIMOTHY 2:3-4 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

 Until you meet the first qualification of God’s will – your salvation – God has no reason to reveal to you anything particular about your life.  Without Christ, man is a stranger to God.  To do the will of God, one has to be related to Jesus!

MARK 3:35 “For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.”

The doctrine of salvation is unpopular because it includes the recognition of sin. Nobody likes to admit sin. And many people resist the idea that they need to be saved.

Most people mask sin. Sin is not sin. Oh, no. They tell us sin is an “idiosyncrasy of individuality.” Sin is “poor secretion of the endocrine glands”!

Either you are not saved from your sin and you need to come to Christ because that is God’s will, or you are saved and need to reach others with the message of salvation.

God so desired that men be saved that He gave the One whom He loved most, His son, and sent Him to die on a cross. That is the measure of His love, and that indicates how much He wills that men be saved!

(your name) (if your name) JOHN 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.”

UNTIL YOU KNOW JESUS CHRIST PERSONALLY, YOU HAVE NEVER TAKEN THE FIRST STEP INTO THE WILL OF GOD.
