EQM Software Update Service Pack 1

A mandatory update to EQM software is now available from Schneider Electric for you to download. This update will enhance connectivity to the cloud; therefore users should not notice anything different but improved availability of the cloud based selectors. We strongly suggest that you download immediately.

Supported browsers (in order of preference, need not be the default browser)  Google Chrome  Mozilla Firefox  Internet Explorer 10 and 11

Support Calls Customer Support toll-free number is (866) 773-3929. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Tell them to have ticket routed to DPSPSG queue.

Installation Instructions NOTE: You may need to have administrative privileges on your Microsoft® Windows® operating system to complete the installation process.

Two options are provided for you download service pack 1 to your PC.

Option 1 - if you are allowed to download an executable (.exe) file Option 2 - if you would prefer to download a zipped file and manually perform the installation.

Option 1: https://websync.squared.com/EQMHelper/EQMUpdates/EQMUpdateUI.exe

An application (EQMUpdateUI.exe) will be downloaded to your PC to guide you through the installation process.

Save the application where you can find it (usually downloads folder) and then run it.

1 This dialog below will be displayed:

It updates your c:\EQM folder. Click OK when this message is displayed.

2 Exit the open dialog (click Red X). Your software is now up to date.

It updates your X (drive specified):\EQM folder. Click OK when this message is displayed.

Exit the open dialog (click Red X). Your software is now up to date.

It downloads the zipped file into the drive specified on your PC. You have to manually open the zipped file and manually copy the files in it to your EQM folder. Click OK when this message is displayed.

3 Exit the open dialog (click Red X).

Option 2: https://websync.squared.com/EQMHelper/EQMWebUpdates

A zipped file (EQMUpdate811a.zip) will be made available for you to download to your PC. You have to manually open the zipped file and manually copy the files in it to your EQM folder.
