Bids are invited from suitably qualified service providers in terms of Section 110 and 112 of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003, for the upgrade to the existing perimeter fencing at Mkuze regional airport located at Mkuze for uMhlosinga Development Agency. Tenderers should have a CIDB grading of 3CE or higher

BID DOCUMENT: A compulsory site briefing session will be held at UMhlosinga Development Agency offices situated at No. the Mkuze Airport, Kingfisher Avenue, Mkuze on Friday, 22 January 2016 at 11h00. Bid documents with the necessary specification will be available on the briefing session and will be issued upon payment of a non- refundable deposit of R1 000.00 per document. Only payments made via EFT will be accepted. BID SUBMISSION Completed bids enclosed in sealed envelopes and clearly marked ““MKUZE AIRPORT PERIMETER FENCING – TENDER NUMBER UMDAC 03/2015/16” must be deposited in the official bid box outside the of UMhlosinga Development Agency offices at 308 Ebony Crescent road, Mtubatuba, on or before Friday 05 February 2016 at 12h00 midday. Only bidders with proven track record who can demonstrate success in similar services will be considered. Bids will be adjudicated in terms of the UMDA’s Supply Chain Management Policy on the 90/10 Preferential Point System, it is therefore essential that the bidders document must be used. Bidders that are registered with uMhlosinga Development Agency supplier’s database will be at an advantage, forms can be downladed on our website. It is the bidder’s responsibility to provide all the data and information requested completely and in the form required. Failure to do so may be regarded by the employer as non-responsive bidders. Umhlosinga Development Agency is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or part of the bid.
