Financial Secretary The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter (NACAC), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, h Adia Hayes-Bradshaw Inc. will host the 18 Annual Mother and Son Luncheon on Saturday, April 25, 2015, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm @ the Blue Dolphin Grill Gambrills, MD. We invite mothers, fathers, counselors, and community leaders to participate in this program that is designed to recognize and uplift young African-American Recording Secretary men, ages 13-18, in Anne Arundel County. Pennie Summers To participate in our program, we ask that you write a one-page letter entitled "Let Me Tell You about My Son” or “Let Me Tell You about an Outstanding Corresponding Secretary Young Man". This letter should come from the heart and outline why you are Kelli Stuart proud of your young man's accomplishments in school, the community, and/or church. The completed package must include the following: 1. One page letter – “Let Me Tell You about My Son” or “Let Me Tell You about Chair an Outstanding Young Man”; Nominating Committee 2. Completed profile (see Enclosure 1); Dr. Shawn Ashworth 3. One 3 x 5 picture-send electronically via email

In addition, this year we will award a special stipend to support the education of a Custodian graduating Anne Arundel County high school senior who plans to attend college or Marsha Pruitt technical school. To be considered, the candidate must submit the following: 1. Completed application form (see Enclosure 2); Chaplain Julia Johnson 2. Your high school transcript; 3. One letter of recommendation; 4. Copy of college acceptance letter, or names of the schools to which you have applied, if you are still awaiting replies. Only Complete application packages received by the deadline date will be Sergeant-At-Arms reviewed for award. The award recipients will be announced at the Mother & Veronica Ford Son Luncheon. Scholarship Guidelines:

To be considered for a special stipend, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Live or attend school in Anne Arundel County; 2. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5; 3. Be a graduating high school senior who has submitted the following: a) Scholarship application; b) Copy of high school transcript; c) A letter of recommendation from school (e.g., counselor, teacher, principal, coach), church (e.g. pastor, youth leader, Sunday school teacher), or community (e.g., civic leader, boys and girls club, etc.); d) A copy of your college acceptance letter or a list of colleges to which you have applied, and e) An essay describing your involvement in community activities.
