However, the phylogeny proposed novel taxonomic findings within Capoeta. Results of GMYC, bPTP, and phylogenetic analyses were similar and suggested that species diversity in Iran is currently underestimated. At least four can- didate species, Capoeta sp4, Capoeta sp5, Capoeta sp6, and Capoeta sp7, are awaiting description. Capoeta capoeta comprises a species complex with distinct genetic line- ages. The divergence times of the three main Capoeta clades are estimated to have occurred around 15.6–12.4 Mya, consistent with a Mio- Pleistocene origin of the di- versity of Capoeta in Iran. The changes in Caspian Sea levels associated with climate fluctuations and geomorphological events such as the uplift of the Zagros and Alborz Mountains may account for the complex speciation patterns in Capoeta in Iran. -

Dr. Ramazan DEMİRDAĞ Bu tez kapsamında, Siraz ( Capoeta umbla) karaciğer dokusunda karbonik anhidraz (CA, karbonat hidroliyaz, E.C. 4.2.1.1) enzimi üzerine bazı metallerin ve pestisitlerin in vitro etkileri incelendi. Siraz (C.umbla) balığının karaciğer dokusundan karbonik anhidraz enzimi ilk kez tarafımızdan afinite kromatografisi (Sepharose 4B–L–tirozin– sulfanilamid) yöntemi ile saflaştırıldı. Afinite kromatografisi neticesinde enzim 2026.32 EÜ/mg spesifik aktiviteyle ve % 59.97 verimle 212.40 kat saflaştırıldı. Saflaştırılan enzimin saflığını kontrol etmek amacıyla Sodyum dodesil sülfat- poliakrilamid jel (SDS-PAGE) elektroforezi yapıldı ve tek bant elde edildi. Siraz ( C.umbla) karaciğer dokusu CA enzimi için yapılan kinetik çalışmalarda; p- nitrofenil asetat substratı kullanılarak Km ve Vmax Lineweaver-Burk grafiklerinden hesaplandı. Tris-SO4 tamponunda optimum pH 8.5, optimum iyonik şiddet 0,02 M Tris-SO4, optimum sıcaklık 35ºC olarak, stabil pH ise Tris-SO4 tamponunda pH 7.0 olarak bulundu. -

DOI: 10.31466/kfbd.905681 Karadeniz Fen Bilimleri Dergisi KFBD The Black Sea Journal of Sciences ISSN (Online): 2564-7377 Araştırma Makalesi / Research Article First Record of Oxynoemacheilus angorae (Steindachner, 1897) from Perşembe Plateau Meandering Streams in the Ordu-Turkey Serdar YEDİER1*, Derya BOSTANCI2, Nazmi POLAT3 Abstract In the current study, for the first time, Oxynoemacheilus angorae samples were caught from Perşembe Plateau Meandering Streams in the Ordu-Turkey (Middle Black Sea Region). In the field studies, fifteen O. angorae individuals were sampled using electrofishing gear. After the captured samples were photographed, they were placed in fish transfer containers and transferred to the laboratory. Some metric numbers and meristic characteristics of the samples brought to the laboratory were recorded. The mean value of body weight of fish samples was determined as 2.39±0.576 g. The mean values of standard length, fork length and total length of the samples were determined as 5.48±0.49 cm, 6.23±0.54 cm and 6.56±0.59 cm, respectively. The result of this study, new fish species was added to freshwater fish fauna of Ordu and also provided a new data for the distribution areas O. angorae in Turkey. Arazi çalışmalarında, on beş adet O. angorae bireyi elektroşoker yardımıyla yakalanmıştır. -

Daday Çayı Kızılırmak Havzası’nın içerisinde yer almaktadır. Germeçtepe Baraj Gölü günümüzde sulamanın yanında su ürünleri yetiştiriciliği ve sportif balıkçılık amacı ile kullanılmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında toplanan örnekler %4 lük formaldehit çözeltisine alınarak fikse edilmiştir. Bir süre sonra alkol serisinden geçirilen örnekler uzun süreli muhafazası için %70 lik etil alkole alınmıştır. Fikse edilen örneklerin taksonomik karakterleri ile ilişkili ölçüm ve sayım işlemleri yapılarak, çeşitli indisler hesaplanmıştır. Yapılan ölçüm, sayım ve hesaplamalar sonucu Germeçtepe Baraj Gölü’nde Capoeta baliki, Squalius pursakensis, Alburnus chalcoides, Cyrinus carpio, Perca fluviatilis ve Oncorhynchus mykiss türlerinin ortamda yayılış gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca Squalius pursakensis ile Alburnus chalcoides türlerinin melezlerinin varlığı da tespit edilmiştir. According to the information provided by European Member States in the framework of the European Directive 92/43/EEC (Habitat Directive), the main threat to these ecosystems is represented by morphological and hydrological changes. The present work focuses on six lagoon fish species included in the Habitat Directive annex II (species requiring conservation measures: Aphanius fasciatus, A. iberus, Knipowitschia panizzae, Ninnigobius canestrinii, Valencia hispanica and V. letourneuxi) that spend their entire life cycle in the Mediterranean priority habitat 1150* “Coastal lagoons”. The overview of the current scientific literature allowed us to highlight how the presence and abundance of these species may provide important indications on the conservation status of coastal lagoon habitats. In fact, their occurrence, distribution and biology depend on the presence of peculiar structures, such as salt marshes, small channels, isolated pools and oligohaline areas. Coastal lagoon fragmentation and habitat loss have led to a significant reduction in genetic diversity or local population extinction.
