Job Description: San Diego’s Soft Rock, KyXy 96.5 seeks applicants for part-time air talent. The weekly hours offered for one individual would be approximately 20. This is a very rare opportunity to join one of the industry’s most revered AC stations. Candidates at all skill and experience levels will be considered. The ideal candidate has an outgoing and engaging personality, is comfortable talking on microphone, can easily adapt to the constantly changing world of technology, is willing to learn and generally a quick study, and has in-depth knowledge of today’s music and lifestyle trends.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications: • Minimum 2 year college degree preferred. • Knowledge of the AC format, station demographic, and San Diego market. • Excellent verbal communication, phone and computer skills are a must. • Experience with web posting and social media networking, Audio Vault, PromoSuite, and Vox Pro are preferred. • Available nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience.
