The Scuderia Ferrari Has Been Reorganized The Scuderia Ferrari has been reorganized Maranello, 16 December - Within a few days from his arrival Maurizio Arrivabene, Managing Director of Ferrari’s Gestione Sportiva and Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari, has restructured his team with a flatter structure and clear assignment of responsibilities. James Allison is the Technical Director with two Italian engineers and home grown Scuderia talent reporting to him: Chief Designer Simone Resta and Power Unit Director Mattia Binotto, the latter will be supported by Chief Designer Power Unit Lorenzo Sassi, among others. Furthermore James Allison will direct track engineering activities ad interim. Therefore he will be responsible for all technical aspects of delivering the Scuderia’s drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel, as well as the newly appointed test driver and third driver Esteban Gutiérrez, with the most competitive Formula 1 car possible. Furthermore, the Scuderia’s Formula 1 activities will be managed by Massimo Rivola, while GT and Corse Clienti racing will be managed by Antonio Coletta. The Ferrari Driver Academy will still be managed by Luca Baldisserri, reporting directly to Maurizio Arrivabene. In addition, Arrivabene will manage the newly founded Commercial Department of the Scuderia ad interim. Renato Bisignani, who until now was the head of Scuderia Ferrari’s Press Office, will join the new department as Marketing Manager and Acquisition. The press office of the Scuderia will be run by Alberto Antonini, a seasoned Formula 1 journalist and contributor to newspapers and magazines as well as TV commentator for RAI and Sky Italia. Antonini will also oversee the newly created Scuderia Ferrari digital team. Nikolas Tombazis and Pat Fry will be leaving the Scuderia. .

Letošní monopost, nazvaný A521, se pyšní perfektním úborem provedeným v barvách modrá, bílá a červená, které jsou synonymem dědictví závodní Alpine. Vůz bude vybaven hnacím agregátem Renault E-Tech 20B V6 1,6 l, projektovaným a vyvinutým ve Viry-Châtillon, kde francouzský výrobce motorů působí ve F1 nepřetržitě již pětačtyřicet let. A521 vychází z R.S.20, který soutěžil v sezoně 2020. V důsledku loňských změněných předpisů v průběhu pandemie byly hlavní strukturální díly A521 převzaty z loňska. Každý díl, který z tohoto rámce vybočoval, však byl vylepšen, zejména vzadu, což si vyžádala nová pravidla FIA v oblasti aerodynamiky. Su questo circuito leggendario, sport, competizione e passione si sono uniti in quattro giorni pieni di adrenalina dedicati a clienti ed appassionati del Cavallino Rampante. Siamo stati in tanti ad aver preso parte dall'1 al 4 novembre all ’ edizione 2018 delle Finali Mondiali Ferra- ri; abbiamo ammirato in una zona del paddock magistralmente allestita le nuovissime Ferra- ri Monza SP1 e SP2 e la Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. Per quattro giorni, abbiamo assistito nel circuito brianzolo alle ultime gare dei tre campionati Ferrari Challenge e alle speciali sessio- ni degli esclusivi Programmi XX e F1 Clienti. Monza è uno dei circuiti più iconici, non solo perché è una delle piste storiche, ma soprattutto perché è unica; è infatti considerata l ’ ultimo vero tempio della velocità del motorsport. Eravamo li ad ammirare in pista i piloti del Ferrari Challenge che si sono alternati alle sessioni dei Programmi XX e F1 Clienti. Christian HORNER: First of all, it’s great to be back in Melbourne, good to be going racing again. It seems like a long winter this one. A positive first session for us, though obviously difficult to read too much into times but you start to get an bit of an idea. You can see Mercedes taking off where they left off; they look in great shape. I think we made good progress with the car over the winter. The drivers seem happy and I’m envisaging a quite tight battle with Maurizio but I’m not sure at the moment what the delta is to Toto’s cars. Toto? Toto WOLFF: Again, like Christian said, it’s good to get started again. We’ve had a pretty good test, much better than last year. But you’re never very sure where that will end up in the first race and the first session was OK, as expected. We didn’t see the Ferraris on the tyres that we have been running, and we need a little bit more time to understand, but I would say it’s a decent start.
