The study was done with research documents and field study using qualitative and quantitative methods. Samples selected for the study were 152 tourists, 4 participating owners of agricultural land in the tour project, 15 owners of tour boats and 5 concerned officers of Khlong Mahasawat Tourism System. Results of the study indicated that Khlong Mahasawat tourism system consisted of internal and external components namely, tourism resources including Khlong Mahasawat, and 4 agricultural areas, lotus fields, an orchid Farm, mixed fields and an area used for processing agricultural products. Tourism services, are boat sightseeing tours along both sides of Khlong Mahasawat and the agricultural areas, foods services and the sale of agricultural products. Regarding marketing, the tourism system has provided news and information to tourists in numerous forms. The external components of tourism are the conditions of the agricultural areas along both sides of the khlong, community lifestyles, tour site locations, and convenience in communication and support from various divisions of both private and public sectors. The standard of value of the tour sites has remained of a very good level. The guidelines for sustainable tour site management, include preservation of the community’s unique identity and giving services in harmony with the surrounding environment and community culture. The main point is to rally farmers in the area to reduce chemical use in farming; instead they should be encouraged to use organic fertilizers. Liangruenrom et al. BMC Public Health (2018) 18:733 https://doi.org/10.1186/s12889-018-5643-y RESEARCH ARTICLE Open Access Physical activity and sedentary behaviour research in Thailand: a systematic scoping review Nucharapon Liangruenrom1,2, Kanyapat Suttikasem2, Melinda Craike1, Jason A. Bennie3, Stuart J. H. Biddle3 and Zeljko Pedisic1* Abstract Background: The number of deaths per year attributed to non-communicable diseases is increasing in low- and middle-income countries, including Thailand. To facilitate the development of evidence-based public health programs and policies in Thailand, research on physical activity (PA) and sedentary behaviour (SB) is needed. The aims of this scoping review were to: (i) map all available evidence on PA and SB in Thailand; (ii) identify research gaps; and (iii) suggest directions for future research. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted through 10 bibliographic databases. Additional articles were identified through secondary searches of reference lists, websites of relevant Thai health organisations, Google, and Google Scholar. Studies written in Thai or English were screened independently by two authors and included if they presented quantitative or qualitative data relevant to public health research on PA and/or SB. Results: Out of 25,007 screened articles, a total of 564 studies were included in the review. Most studies included PA only (80%), 6.7% included SB only, and 13.3% included both PA and SB. The most common research focus was correlates (58.9%), followed by outcomes of PA/SB (22.2%), prevalence of PA/SB (12.4%), and instrument validation (3.2%). Most PA/SB research was cross-sectional (69.3%), while interventions (19.7%) and longitudinal studies (2.8%) were less represented.

When the Chinese people are grouped together as a community, they often build shrines and vegetarian cafeterias. This is the cultural phenomenon that often occurs alongside. Chinese people in Ratchaburi are similar to other groups of Chinese people elsewhere in Thailand in term of gods and ancestral spirits worshiping. At the same time, they also make merit in Buddhist’s ways. Another belief that Chinese people practice is Confucianism. Basically, the concepts of Confucianism are about cultural practice, honesty, loyalty, proper respect for the seniors and family relationship, ancient rituals, as well as pursuit of knowledge. In Chinese New Year's Day or Chinese Midyear Remembrance Ceremony Day, Chinese people still remain to practice these beliefs. The Chinese community may be compared as "Chinatown of Ratchaburi" such as Chinese communities in Ratchaburi city, Ban Pong Municipality, and Photharam Municipality. In addition, there are some centers organized to run activities according to their beliefs. The centers are considered as their traditions such as the shrines of Guan Yu (Guan Kong) in Photharam District and Ratchaburi city, the shrines of Chao Mae Tuptim in Ratchaburi city, Ban Pong District, Damnoen Saduak District and Photharam District etc. 4.2 Famous Damnoen Saduak Canal was made by Chinese People According to the history, Damnoen Saduak canal was ordered to be built in 1866.
